Hideki is the founding artistic director of Musica Maestrale, a period performance concert series and variable-member chamber ensemble based in Portland, Oregon.  Founded in 2011, MM has presented programs spanning the Renaissance to early 19th-century, performed in a historically informed manner.  The group has collaborated with other prominent organizations in the area, including The Ensemble of Oregon, Northwest Art Song, and the Early Music Guild of Oregon.  In August 2016, Musica Maestrale ran its first ever summer festival and workshop in Astoria, Oregon to great success.
